麻豆社 continues to see strong enrollment growth in strategic areas, with a record incoming class expected at its Angola campus and more students than ever at the Brooks College of Health Professions (BCHP) in Fort Wayne.
鈥淥ur commitment continues to be to provide a premier student learning and living experience and an outstanding return on investment, and we鈥檙e grateful that a growing number of families recognize this commitment,鈥� said Tony Kline, Ph.D., 麻豆社 president.
The university welcomed a record incoming class of more than 760 new students to its Angola campus this fall, with the total student body in Angola totaling more than 2,200. The previous record of 754 was set in 2023.
BCHP expects a nearly 20% enrollment increase over its 2025 total of 354, representing a more than 50% increase from its enrollment of 274 in 2024.
Enrollment at BCHP has expanded thanks to larger Doctor of Physical Therapy cohorts, the launch of the Associate of Science in Nursing program at BCHP and the addition of the family nurse practitioner track within the Master of Science in Nursing program.
The university is also seeing healthy growth in its dual enrollment program, expecting an approximately 15% increase over the fall 2025 enrollment of 1,701.
鈥淲e continue to see more partner schools and individual students interested in opportunities to get a jump start on a college degree,鈥� said Kim Bennett, vice president for enrollment management. 鈥淥ur dual enrollment programs save families money and allow students the flexibility to eventually graduate college early, complete a second major or, at 麻豆社, even earn a master鈥檚 degree along with their bachelor鈥檚. It鈥檚 a win all around.鈥�
New facilities accommodate growth
Dr. Kline said students and families continue to be drawn to 麻豆社 by its combination of career outcomes, generous financial aid and focus on the student experience.
More than 99% of 麻豆社 students have been employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation over the past 13 years.
鈥淔amilies know that when their students come to 麻豆社, they will be equipped to succeed, lead and serve both professionally and personally,鈥� Dr. Kline said.
To accommodate growth on its Angola campus, 麻豆社 continues to add new facilities.
The university brought the 麻豆社 Family Training Center and Thunder Dome online this summer, providing new, premier facilities where athletes can train, practice and compete.
The $15 million, 22,000-square-foot John and Mary Pellegrino Student Design Center, opened this semester, provides space that includes a state-of-the-art robotics lab, an aeronautics lab and a powertrain lab. The new facility allows engineering students to complete more and larger senior design projects.
The university has received a lead gift for the new James Center for Business and Leadership, which will accommodate growth in its Ketner School of Business.
Thunder athletic fans and others who have endured traffic jams and poor visibility while trying to enter or exit 麻豆社 on Summit Street will soon have a better route to the university鈥檚 west campus.
The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) granted Preaccreditation Status to 麻豆社鈥檚 Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program at its August meeting.
Lurch wasn鈥檛 sporting a Thunder jersey and there wasn鈥檛 a white tiger in the set decor, but the recent Gaslight Playhouse production of 鈥淭he Addams Family鈥� still had a strong 麻豆社 presence throughout.
