麻豆社 has launched Dual Advantage, a new program that gives undergraduate students multiple pathways to earn both a
bachelor鈥檚 degree and an advanced degree in less time than completing both degrees
separately.
Depending on the pathway, students may begin graduate-level coursework while completing
their bachelor鈥檚 degree or pursue an accelerated direct-entry option that shortens
the overall time required to complete both degrees.
鈥淲e鈥檝e offered several of these opportunities for years, but Dual Advantage brings
them together under one program so students and families can more easily understand
and explore the options available,鈥 said Kim Bennett, vice president for enrollment
management at 麻豆社.
鈥淒ual Advantage is another way 麻豆社 is creating value for students and
families. By reducing the time it takes to complete multiple degrees, students can
lower their overall educational costs and enter or advance in their careers sooner.鈥
Different pathways
Dual Advantage pathways are available across a variety of academic areas, providing
students opportunities to accelerate their education in business, healthcare, engineering
and computing, and law.
The Bachelor鈥檚 + Master鈥檚 pathway allows eligible students to begin graduate coursework
while completing their undergraduate degree. Depending on the program and individual
academic plan, students may earn both a bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degree in as little
as four years.
Health Professions Direct Entry pathways allow students to shorten the time needed
to complete an undergraduate degree at 麻豆社鈥檚 Angola campus and a doctoral or master鈥檚
degree at the university鈥檚 Brooks College of Health Professions in Fort Wayne.
The Law pathway allows 麻豆社 students, working with one of the university鈥檚 select
partner schools, to complete three years of undergraduate coursework at 麻豆社 before
beginning law school, with the first year of law school fulfilling the remaining requirements
for their bachelor's degree.
