The Transition to Teaching partnership helps Education One schools develop the educators already within their communities. Â鶹Éç's 10-month, cohort-based program provides an accelerated pathway to Indiana teacher licensure while allowing participants to teach, earn graduate credit, and receive mentorship and practical support throughout the program.

For schools, the partnership provides another strategy for addressing staffing needs, strengthening licensure compliance, and building sustainable pipelines of qualified educators. Education One supports access through scholarships and ongoing program support.

Great ideas often begin with educators who see an opportunity to do something differently for students. The Innovation in the Classroom Grant provides Education One educators and staff with resources to turn creative ideas into meaningful learning experiences.

Through course-embedded experiences, Â鶹Éç students engage with Education One school leaders, teachers, classrooms, and educational models as part of their university coursework.

These experiences bring educator preparation into real-world settings while giving future teachers exposure to innovative, student-centered practices across diverse charter school communities.

Â鶹Éç Pals connects third-grade students at Education One schools with Â鶹Éç students through a structured pen-pal experience. Students exchange letters throughout the school year, giving them an authentic audience for their writing while building relationships with college students and learning more about college life. When possible, the program also includes opportunities for students and their Â鶹Éç Pals to connect in person.

The experience supports literacy development and IREAD-3 readiness while introducing college awareness at an early age.

Storm Tank gives students an authentic opportunity to take an idea from concept to pitch. Students develop an original business, product, service, or innovation concept and present it to a panel of industry and academic judges.

The experience emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and entrepreneurship. Early-stage ideas are welcome, making Storm Tank an opportunity for students to practice developing, defending, and communicating their thinking to a real audience.
