Summary

The Assistant Director of Dual Enrollment supports the overall administration, coordination, and continued growth of 麻豆社鈥檚 Dual Enrollment program. This position serves as a key resource for dual enrollment students, families, high school partners, faculty, and internal university departments, helping ensure a consistent and positive experience throughout the dual enrollment lifecycle.

The Assistant Director assists with student and partner support, registration and enrollment processes, communications, academic and course-related questions, data management, events, program operations, and troubleshooting. The position works closely with the Director of Dual Enrollment to strengthen processes, maintain strong relationships with partner schools, and support program quality and compliance.

The role also supports engagement and matriculation efforts by helping dual enrollment students understand opportunities to continue their education at 麻豆社 following high school. While recruitment and matriculation are components of the position, the primary focus is providing comprehensive support for Dual Enrollment students, partners, and program operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Dual Enrollment Program Support and Operations

  • Support the day-to-day administration and operation of the Dual Enrollment program.
  • Serve as a resource for students, families, high school partners, faculty, and university departments regarding Dual Enrollment policies, processes, timelines, and requirements.
  • Assist with student registration, enrollment, course changes, account questions, and other student-related processes.
  • Help identify and resolve issues that may impact the student or partner experience, coordinating with appropriate university departments when necessary.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and documentation of Dual Enrollment processes and procedures.

Student and Family Support

  • Provide timely and accurate assistance to dual enrollment students and families throughout the enrollment process.
  • Help students understand course options, academic expectations, university resources, policies, and next steps.
  • Assist students with questions related to registration, course access, technology, transcripts, grades, and other aspects of the Dual Enrollment experience.
  • Connect students and families with appropriate university resources when additional assistance is needed.
  • Promote a positive student experience by providing consistent communication and proactive support.

High School Partner Support and Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with high school counselors, administrators, instructors, and other Dual Enrollment partners.
  • Serve as an accessible point of contact for partner schools and assist with questions, concerns, and program needs.
  • Provide schools with information and resources related to registration, courses, student eligibility, deadlines, policies, and university procedures.
  • Coordinate regular communication and outreach with partner schools.
  • Assist with school visits, meetings, presentations, information sessions, and other partner engagement activities.

Academic and Course Support

  • Assist students and school partners with questions regarding course selection, academic pathways, prerequisites, and Dual Enrollment opportunities.
  • Support communication regarding course offerings, schedules, faculty needs, course expectations, and student requirements.
  • Help students understand how Dual Enrollment coursework may apply toward future 麻豆社 degree programs or other educational pathways.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to create meaningful academic pathways for partner schools and students.

Communication and Coordination

  • Develop and coordinate communications to students, families, school partners, and other stakeholders throughout the Dual Enrollment cycle.
  • Help ensure information provided through email, websites, registration systems, presentations, and other materials remains accurate and consistent.
  • Assist with maintaining Dual Enrollment resources, presentations, training materials, and operational documentation.

Events and Engagement

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of Dual Enrollment events both on campus and at partner high schools.
  • Support orientations, advising sessions, workshops, classroom presentations, partner meetings, and other Dual Enrollment programming.
  • Maintain a presence at partner schools when appropriate to provide students and school personnel with direct access to university support.
  • Identify opportunities to increase student awareness of 麻豆社 resources, programs, and the broader university experience.

Engagement and Matriculation Support

  • Help Dual Enrollment students understand opportunities to continue their education at 麻豆社 following high school.
  • Provide information about academic programs, admission pathways, transferability of Dual Enrollment credits, campus opportunities, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Admission on appropriate outreach and engagement strategies for Dual Enrollment students who may be interested in matriculating to 麻豆社.
  • Support events and communications designed to introduce Dual Enrollment students to additional 麻豆社 opportunities.
  • Track engagement and matriculation outcomes to help evaluate the effectiveness of these efforts.

Data Management, Reporting and Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate records related to students, partner schools, courses, communications, and program activities.
  • Assist with monitoring enrollment, participation, engagement, and other Dual Enrollment metrics.
  • Compile reports and analyze data to identify trends, needs, and opportunities for program improvement.
  • Support the development of more efficient processes and systems to improve the student, partner, and staff experience.
  • Help ensure appropriate information is documented and shared across departments.

Compliance and Accreditation Support

  • Support program practices consistent with university policies and applicable Dual Enrollment requirements.
  • Assist the Director of Dual Enrollment with maintaining documentation and processes associated with National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) Accreditation Standards.
  • Participate in data collection, reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts related to accreditation and program quality.
  • Help ensure partner schools, students, and university stakeholders receive consistent information regarding program expectations and requirements.

Other Duties

  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Dual Enrollment program and university priorities.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor鈥檚 degree from a four-year college or university
